Terms Of Service

IBK Shop is invoicing and shop management for repair shops: estimates, work orders, invoices, payments, customers, vehicles, supplier bills and stock. By opening an account for your shop you agree to these terms. They are written in plain words on purpose. If a point is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

Your Account

• One account is one shop. The person who sets it up is its owner and can invite others from the shop to use it.
• Each person signs in with their own name, PIN and password. Keep them to yourself. What is done under your sign-in is taken as done by you.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has your sign-in.

Your Records Are Yours

• Everything you put in, customers, vehicles, invoices, payments, supplier bills, belongs to your shop. We do not sell it, share it or use it for anything but running the service for you.
• You can take a full copy out at any time under Settings, Import And Export, as plain files you can open anywhere.
• If you close your account we keep your records for 90 days so you can still ask for a copy, then we delete them.

What We Promise, And What We Do Not

• We keep the service running and keep hourly backups of your records. We do not promise it will never be down. If it is down, we work on it until it is back.
• The app reads supplier bills and matches them to your invoices. A bill it is not sure of is marked for you to check. You are responsible for what goes out on your invoices; look before you send.
• Tax figures, reports and statements are worked out from what you entered. They are a help for you and your accountant, not tax advice.
• We are not liable for lost profit or indirect loss from using the service. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem.

Fees

• During the beta the service is free. When fees start we tell you at least 30 days ahead, in the app and by email, with the price per shop per month.
• Fees are charged monthly to the card on file. If a payment fails we tell you and give you two weeks to fix it before the account is paused. A paused account keeps its records.
• You can stop at any time. There is no contract term and no cancellation fee.

Fair Use

• Use it for running your shop. Do not use it to send spam, to store records that are not yours to store, or to try to get at another shop's records.
• Do not try to break into the service or probe it. If you find a security problem, tell us and we will fix it and thank you.

Changes And Ending

• We may change these terms. If the change matters to you, we tell you in the app and by email 30 days before it takes effect.
• We may close an account that breaks these terms. We tell you why, and you still get your copy of your records.
• If we ever shut the service down, we give at least 90 days notice and your records to take with you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada. Any dispute is heard in British Columbia.
